Emer Kelly is a qualified and accredited Play Therapist and Child & Adolescent Clinical Psychotherapist. She holds an Honours Degree in Social Care (WIT), a Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy (IAPTP accredited), and a Master’s Degree in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy (Children’s Therapy Centre, Limerick).

With over seven years’ experience, Emer has worked with children and young people across diverse emotional, social, and developmental needs in both private practice and residential care. She has also held a management role, supporting staff teams to deliver trauma-informed, relationship-based care.

Areas of Support

Emer provides therapy for children experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, grief, loss, self-esteem and relationship difficulties. She also supports children with social and behavioural challenges, self-harm awareness and safety, as well as neurodivergent children, including those with Autism and ADHD.
